Fiscal Note
	The requirement that 60% of the future funding for the State Police program must come from the Highway Fund and 40% from the General Fund beginning in fiscal year 2007-08 will mean a cost increase for the General Fund and an equivalent savings for the Highway Fund.  In comparison, the currently budgeted ratio for fiscal year 2006-07 is approximately 65% Highway and 35% General Fund.
