Amend the bill in Part HHH in section 1 in the 2nd line (page 340, line 3 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "$2,500,000" and inserting the following: '$800,000'
Amend the bill in Part HHH in section 1 by adding a new 2nd paragraph to read:
‘Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the State Controller shall transfer $1,700,000 of surplus funds not needed for current operations by June 30, 2008 from the Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Bureau of General Services - Capital Construction Reserve Fund, Other Special Revenue Funds account to the Highway Fund for emergency road repairs.’
