An Act To Clarify the Scope of Conservation Programs with Respect to Electricity Use
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 35-A MRSA §3211-A, sub-§1, ¶D, as enacted by PL 2001, c. 624, §4, is amended to read:
D. "Conservation programs" means programs developed by the commission pursuant to this section designed to reduce inefficient electricity use. Conservation programs may also result in savings in nonelectric fuels that are incidental to electricity savings.
