An Act To Amend the Laws Concerning the Assessment of Rates for Workers' Compensation
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 24-A MRSA §2382-C, sub-§1-A is enacted to read:
1-A. Proportionate classification on basis of work activities. In accordance with subsection 1, an insurer shall develop subclassifications of the uniform classification system under section 2382-B that reasonably reflect the proportionate exposure to claims based on differences in work activities to determine the rate for certain occupations.
