An Act To Protect against Discrimination in Housing
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 5 MRSA §4582-C is enacted to read:
§ 4582-C. Credit history checks
A private person furnishing rental premises may not seek more than 2 years of credit history on a person who is a recipient of housing subsidies.
