Fiscal Detail and Notes
	The amendment removes the General Fund appropriations for the Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management that were necessary for the department to implement a medal system to recognize certain members of the armed services. The department will have to implement the program using currently budgeted resources and as a result, certain previously mandated responsibilities may not be accomplished.
