| This amendment eliminates the ongoing General Fund appropriation of $174,136 per year beginning in fiscal year 2008-09 associated with the University of Maine System establishing and maintaining a center within the System that would offer labor education and policy development for students and community organizations. | ||||||
| As amended, this bill states that the Legislature supports the concept of the establishment of a labor center at the University of Southern Maine using existing resources of the University of Maine System. | ||||||
