| This legislation establishes a Municipal Energy Savings Evaluation Fund to be administered by the Maine Municipal Bond Bank. The Maine Municipal Bond Bank would provide grants to municipalities for conservation measures and improvements in municipal buildings. The bill requires a minimun of 5 grants by made annually for up to $40,000 each but does not provide any funding for the grants. A General Fund appropriation of $200,000 is needed to provide for the minimun annually beginning in fiscal year 2007-08. | ||||||
