| Fiscal Detail and Notes | ||||||
| Since it is assumed that any tank owner who removed a leaking tank in 1995 or earlier would have long ago filed an application for fund coverage and would have already paid the deductible, the bill is expected to have little or no fiscal impact on the Department of Environmental Protection and the Ground Water Oil Clean-up Fund. However, if the intent is to allow refunds on deductibles already paid as many as 15 tank owners may be eligible for a refund of the $10,000 deductible. This could result in additional disbursements from the Ground Water Oil Clean-up Fund of up to $150,000. | ||||||
