| As the Secretary of State's budget for fiscal year 2006-07 does not include any funds for a special state-wide election in June of 2007, an additional General Fund appropriation of $156,043 for the Secretary of State in fiscal year 2006-07 will be necessary. In addition, for the appropriation to take effect the bill will need to be amended to include an emergency preamble. | ||||||
