	This bill includes ongoing General Fund appropriations of $700,000 in fiscal year 2007-08 and $900,000 per year beginning in fiscal year 2008-09 to the University of Maine System to accelerate the transition of the University of Maine at Augusta from an institution focused on two-year degrees to an institution focused on granting four-year baccalaureate degrees.
