| The Department of Education currently requires school administrative units to follow a uniform chart of accounts for educational expenditures. As long as a newly established municipal chart of accounts is established in coordination with the existing education standard chart of accounts in order to avoid coding conflicts, there should be no fiscal impact to the Department of Education. Additional costs to local school units, if any, can not be determined at this time. | ||||||
