| This bill includes General Fund appropriations of $50,000 in fiscal year 2007-08 and $50,000 in fiscal year 2008-09 to fund the nursing education loan repayment program established in Public Law 2005, chapter 417 to be administered by the Finance Authority of Maine. The Authority estimates its cost to administer the program to be approximately $23,700 in fiscal year 2007-08 and $4,000 per year beginning in fiscal year 2008-09. Because Public Law 2005, chapter 417 allows the Authority to utilize a portion of the funds appropriated for its administrative costs, no additional General Fund appropriations are required. | ||||||
