| Establishing certain requirements regarding continuing eligibility as a Clean Election candidate is likely to decrease expenditures of the Maine Clean Election Fund. Based on recent experience, the Commission on Governmental Ethics and Election Practices estimates that an average of 5 candidates will not be eligible for continued funding as Clean Election candidates, thereby resulting in savings of $21,810 in fiscal year 2007-08. | ||||||
