| Currently, the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention is revising the fish tissue action level for dioxin but has not completed its work. Without this information, the Department of Environmental Protection cannot determine the additional costs associated with dioxin contamination in the waters and fisheries of the state, the appropriate monitoring levels required and the number of selected locations to be sampled and tested. | ||||||
