Fiscal Detail and Notes
	This legislation caps the total fees that mills can be assessed at $10,000 for dioxin monitoring.  This change will result in a reduction in dedicated revenue and a corresponding deallocation to the Maine Environmental Protection Fund of $10,000 annually beginning in fiscal year 2008-09.  The Department of Environmental Protection has indicated they can absorb the proposed reduction by making changes in program priorities to meet its dioxin monitoring requirements.
