| The Bureau of Labor Standards within the Department of Labor will require ongoing General Fund appropriations of $177,322 in fiscal year 2007-08 and $226,850 in fiscal year 2008-09 for 1 Labor and Safety Inspector position, 2 Hearing Examiner positions and 1 Legal Secretary position and related all other to support the anticipated increase in enforcement activity as a result of the requirement in this legislation that an employer may terminate the employment of an employee for misconduct only. | ||||||
