Legislative Cost/Study
	The cost of the per diem and expenses of the two legislators who will participate in the examination of motor fuel taxes are projected to be $840 in fiscal year 2007-08.  The Legislature's proposed budget includes $30,000 in fiscal year 2007-08 for legislative studies.  Whether the amount is sufficient to fund all studies will depend on the number of studies authorized by the Legislative Council and the Legislature.
Fiscal Detail and Notes
	The additional costs to the Department of Transportation and the Department of Administrative and Financial Services to review current motor fuel taxes and report by January 15, 2008 can be absorbed utilizing existing budgeted resources.
