| This legislation expands the pool of those eligible to perform examinations for involuntary treatment of mental health patients to professionals who cost less than licensed physicians. This will allow General Fund deappropriations to the Judicial Department of $40,000 annually beginning in fiscal year 2007-08. The money had previously been necessitated by passage of Public Law 2007, chapter 446 which had effectively required a licensed physician to provide medication. | ||||||
