| This amendment provides that the axle weight limits and tolerances exemption does not apply on the Interstate Highway System and the Maine Turnpike. Therefore, the Federal weight limits specified in USC Title 23 should not be exceeded and the approximately $29 million in federal funds that Maine receives from the Federal Highway Administration should not be withheld. | ||||||
