This amendment
removes all provisions of the bill and replaces them with directing the
Secretary of State to convene a task force to study the most cost-effective
way to implement the federal REAL ID Act of 2005. It eliminates the budgeted Highway Fund
revenue of $3,051,375, and eliminates the Highway Fund allocation of
$1,528,944 .
