Amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting the following:
‘Resolve, To Allow Smelt Fishing in Metallak Brook, Upper Richardson Lake in 2010’
Amend the bill by striking out everything after the title and before the summary and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 1. Smelt fishing in Metallak Brook in Oxford County. Resolved: That, during the 2010 smelting season only, a person may fish for smelt by use of a dip net in Metallak Brook, a tributary of Upper Richardson Lake, within Township 4, Range 1, WBKP, Oxford County. A person may not:
1. Exceed daily bag limit. Exceed a daily bag limit of 2 quarts per person. A person who violates this subsection commits a Class E crime; or
2. Harvest for commercial purposes. Harvest smelt for commercial purposes. A person who violates this subsection commits a Class D crime for which a fine of not less than $1,000 must be adjudged.
This section is repealed on January 1, 2011.’

This amendment strikes the bill and the emergency preamble and emergency clause and replaces the bill with a resolve allowing smelting on Metallak Brook for the 2010 smelting season only.
