| This bill proposes to repeal the law that limits the number of liquor stores that can be licensed in a municipality. It is estimated that 100 new licenses will be issued in fiscal year 2009-10 resulting in additional General Fund revenue of $200,000 and another 200 new licenses will be issued in fiscal year 2010-11, along with the prior year's renewals, resulting in additional General Fund revenue of $430,000. The Department of Public Safety would require a General Fund appropriation of $151,571 in fiscal year 2009-10 and $133,557 in fiscal year 2010-11 for a Public Safety II position, Office Associate II position and related administrative costs. | ||||||
