| The authorization of a Support Animal Welfare specialty registration plate will require a one-time Other Special Revenue Funds allocation in fiscal year 2009-10 of $52,956 to the Secretary of State for the costs of manufacturing the plates. $50,000 of this amount was received by the Secretary of State in September 2008 from the Maine Adoption Leaders Team. The new plate will increase Highway Fund revenue in fiscal year 2009-10 by an estimated $29,250, increase dedicated revenue to the Specialty License Plate Fund within the Secretary of State by an estimated $3,250 in fiscal year 2009-10, increase dedicated revenue to the Animal Welfare Auxiliary Fund within the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources by $16,250 in fiscal year 2009-10, and increase dedicated revenue to the Companion Animal Sterilization Fund within the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources by $16,250 in fiscal year 2009-10. | ||||||
