| Requiring the Commissioner of Education to consider School Union No. 60 as geographically isolated and exempting it from the requirement to form a regional school unit and the penalty provisions associated with not conforming to the law will not impact the total state and local cost of funding K-12 public education or the State's share of that cost. However, it will impact the distribution of State subsidy among school administrative units with School Union No. 60 receiving approximately $136,272 more State subsidy than it would have received had it been subject to the penalty provisions and those conforming school administrative units receiving approximately $136,272 less. The impact to specific individual school administrative units can not be determined at this time. | ||||||
