An Act To Allow Storage of Lobster Traps on Docks
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 38 MRSA §480-II is enacted to read:
§ 480-II. Lobster trap storage on docks
The department may not, under this article, prohibit or regulate the storage of lobster traps on docks. For the purposes of this section, "dock" means a dock, wharf, pier, quay or other structure built on the shore or projected into a harbor and used as a landing, storage, loading or unloading area for watercraft.
