An Act To Revise the Law Regarding Vehicle Turning and Signals
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §2071, sub-§2, ¶A, as enacted by PL 2003, c. 452, Pt. Q, §46 and affected by Pt. X, §2, is amended to read:
A. An operator may not turn a vehicle , including merging into traffic and changing lanes, without giving an appropriate signal if other traffic may be affected by that movement.
