An Act To Allow the Owner of Waterfront Property To Fish That Body of Water without a Fishing License
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §12503, sub-§2-A is enacted to read:
2-A. Waterfront property owner. An individual who owns waterfront property on a great pond may fish that great pond without a fishing license. An individual who owns waterfront property on a river or stream may fish that river or stream from that individual’s property without a fishing license. This section does not apply to an individual whose license to fish is under suspension or revocation.
