An Act To Discourage Illegal Dumping in the State
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 17 MRSA §2264-B, sub-§5, as amended by PL 2009, c. 424, §1, is further amended to read:
5. License suspension. Surrender the person's motor vehicle operator's license and any other license, permit, certification or registration issued to the person by any department or agency of the State for a period not exceeding 30 days. The court may suspend an operator's license for any violation of section 2264-A that involves the use of a motor vehicle.

This bill allows a court to order the surrender of any license, permit, certification or registration issued by any department or agency of the State held by a person who violates the Maine Litter Control Act.
