summary

This amendment strikes the provision of Committee Amendment "A" that permits only a licensed caterer to serve wine that has not yet been registered in the State and instead allows a sales representative of the manufacturer of that wine to serve the sample. The committee amendment permits manufacturers and wholesalers to apply for the special food and beverage industry taste-testing event license; this amendment allows an out-of-state or foreign wholesaler and manufacturer with a certificate of approval issued by the State to also apply for the event license.
