An Act Regarding the Fairness of Sales Tax on Certain Precious Metals Purchases
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 36 MRSA §1760, sub-§92 is enacted to read:
92. Certain sales of precious metals. Every sale of gold, silver, platinum and palladium bars, bullion and coins that is $1,000 or greater in value.
