Resolve, To Enhance Agriculture and Farming

Sec. 1. Department of Conservation to streamline process for clear-cutting land that was previously used for agricultural purposes. Resolved: That the Department of Conservation shall adopt rules under the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 12, section 8869 to streamline the permitting process for clear-cutting land to be used for agricultural purposes that was previously used for agricultural purposes. Rules adopted pursuant to this section are routine technical rules as defined in Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter 2-A.
