Amend the resolution by striking out the title and substituting the following:
‘RESOLUTION, Proposing an Amendment to the Constitution of Maine To Require Approval by a 2/3 Vote of Each Branch of the Legislature in Order To Raise a Tax or Impose a New Tax’
Amend the resolution in section 24 in the 2nd line (page 1, line 6 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: " tax" the following: ' or imposes a new tax'
Amend the resolution in the 4th indented paragraph after the title in the question in the last line (page 1, line 16 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: "tax" the following: 'or impose a new tax'
