	Additional costs to the Department of Education to establish the stakeholder group and conduct the required study can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
	This legislation may increase costs to those local school administrative units whose resident students enroll in an online learning program offered by a school administrative unit that is not the students' school administrative unit of residence.  Because this legislation is silent as to whether or not a student will require the approval of the school administrative unit of residence before enrolling in an online learning program it is unclear as to whether or not the school administrative unit of residence will be able to absorb the additional costs within existing budgeted resources.
