| This bill requires the Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management to establish a partnership with a national volunteer organization to remedy and prevent the problem of homelessness among veterans. The department will require a one-time General Fund appropriation of $50,000 in fiscal year 2011-12 for one limited-period Veterans Service Officer and related travel, housing and administrative costs to perform outreach to homeless veterans. | ||||||
