| Designating the Public Advocate as the chair of the Electric Rate Evaluation Council (EREC) and requiring the Public Advocate to provide periodic review together with the EREC of factors influencing electric rates is expected to require certain research, data collection, materials preparation and staff time expenditures starting in fiscal year 2011-12. It is estimated this will cost $15,590 in fiscal year 2011-12, $9,534 in fiscal year 2012-13 and $6,236 in fiscal years 2013-14 and 2014-15. As the bill requires the Public Advocate to provide support to the EREC within existing budgeted resources no allocation is provided in the bill. | ||||||
