|
|
The Board of
Dental Examiners and the Administrative Services Division within the
Department of Professional and Financial Regulation will require one-time
Other Special Revenue Funds allocations totaling $7,500 in fiscal year
2011-12 for the costs associated with implementing the requirement that
certain dental assistants, dental hygienists and denturists provide at least
6 hours of free public education on good oral hygiene each year as a
condition of relicensing and recertification. |
|
Of that amount,
the Board of Dental Examiners, affiliated with the Department of Professional
and Financial Regulation, will require a one-time Other Special Revenue Funds
allocation of $2,500 in fiscal year 2011-12 for rulemaking costs. Additionally, the Administrative Services
Division will require a one-time Other Special Revenue Funds allocation of
$5,000 in fiscal year 2011-12 for the costs associated with reconfiguring the
licensing system. |
|
Both the Board of
Dental Examiners and the Administrative Services Division have sufficent
funds within their respective budgets to support the cost of this
legislation. |
