| Raising the percentage of rent paid that may be claimed by elderly and nonelderly households to 100% of the gross rent will increase Maine Residents Property Tax Program (Circuit Breaker) refunds beginning in fiscal year 2011-12, which will reduce revenue to the General Fund and reduce revenue sharing. Maine Revenue Services (MRS) will require an appropriation for one Tax Examiner position and related administrative support costs to implement the new Circuit Breaker program with the 100% reimbursement requirement. | ||||||
