Fiscal Detail and Notes
This legislation allows a disabled veteran to receive up to 2 sets of registration certificates and plates at no cost (current law allows one set at no cost).  It would result in a loss of Highway Fund revenue of $57,200 beginning in fiscal year 2012-13.  This estimate assumes that 2/3 of the active disabled veteran registrants have at least one additional vehicle.
