This amendment is the minority report of the Joint Standing Committee on Judiciary. It amends the joint resolution to request the President of the United States and the United States Congress to consider providing to the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians a just and equal share of the remaining balance held in trust for the Passamaquoddy Tribe and the Penobscot Nation under the federal Maine Indian Claims Settlement Act of 1980, United States Public Law 96-420.
