‘ 4. Compensation. In the event of a temporary appointment under this section, the commission shall provide administrative support to the temporary commissioner and compensate the temporary commissioner for the hours spent at the commission working on a proceeding at an hourly rate that is computed by dividing the annual salary of a commissioner, established in Title 2, section 6-A, subsection 2, by 2,080 hours.’
