SUMMARY

This amendment:

1. Reduces funding in fiscal year 2013-14 for MaineCare cycle payments and payments to providers to reflect decreased health care costs; and

2. Strikes language that requires the State Controller to lapse $2,500,000 from the Department of Corrections, Capital Construction/Repairs/Improvements - Corrections, General Fund account to the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund no later than June 30, 2014 and $2,500,000 from the Department of Corrections, Capital Construction/Repairs/Improvements - Corrections, General Fund account to the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund no later than June 30, 2015.
