Amend the amendment after the title by striking out all of the 2nd and 3rd indented paragraphs (page 1, lines 13 to 19 in amendment) and inserting the following:
Amend the resolve by striking out all of the emergency preamble (page 1, lines 1 to 12 in L.D.).
Amend the resolve in section 2 in the 8th line (page 1, line 26 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "September" and inserting the following: 'December'
’Amend the amendment by inserting before the summary the following:
Amend the resolve in section 3 in the first 2 lines (page 2, lines 10 and 11 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "Joint Standing Committee on Veterans and Legal Affairs authorized to meet; legislation." and inserting the following: 'Legislation.'
Amend the resolve in section 3 in the 2nd to 5th lines (page 2, lines 11 to 14 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "Joint Standing Committee on Veterans and Legal Affairs is authorized to hold up to 4 meetings to consider the analysis and report described in section 2 and shall complete its work related to the report and develop any recommended legislation by December 3, 2014. The"
Amend the resolve by striking out all of the emergency clause (page 2, lines 28 and 29 in L.D.).
’summary
This amendment amends Senate Amendment "C" to strike the emergency preamble and emergency clause from the resolve. This amendment extends the date by which the market analysis and report is to be done to December 1, 2014 and removes the authorization for the Joint Standing Committee on Veterans and Legal Affairs to meet with respect to the analysis and report.
