An Act To Amend the Charter of the Augusta Parking District
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. P&SL 1947, c. 124, §15 is repealed.

Private and Special Law 1947, chapter 124, creating the Augusta Parking District, contained a provision requiring its dissolution and conveyance of assets to the City of Augusta upon payment of all bonds issued by the district. This bill repeals that provision. The district continues to function effectively, and the City of Augusta does not want to acquire its assets.
