The Public
Utilities Commission must monitor legislative activities and certify to the
Secretary of State and the Revisor of Statutes when 4 other states adopt
legislation requiring labeling of cellular telephones or cellular telephone
packaging relating to radio-frequency exposure. This Act becomes effective
only if 4 other states adopt this legislation before January 1, 2024.
Providing a contingent effective date may delay the fiscal impact of the bill
or possibly prevent implementation completely. |
