	This legislation will not impact the total State and local cost of the components of essential programs and services or the State's share of that cost.  The cost to local school administrative units that choose to allow a properly trained school employee to carry a concealed handgun on school property associated with establishing rules, procedures and guidelines will be borne by those individual school units.
	Additional costs to the Department of Public Safety associated with designing a firearms training course for school employees can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
