This amendment
changes the committee amendment's compensation structure for temporary
commissioners. It limits a temporary commissioner's compensation to hours
spent at the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) while working on a proceeding
at a rate of a commissioner's yearly salary, currently $115,328, divided by
2080 hours, resulting in an hourly rate of $55.45 per hour. This may reduce
the number of hours of compensation paid to temporary commissioners,
resulting in incremental savings to the PUC compared to the committee
amendment. |
