Fiscal Detail and Notes
Changing the reimbursement rate for career and academic advising and counseling costs incurred by local adult education programs from 70% to 75% will not impact the amount of funds appropriated for the Adult Education program within the Department of Education.  However, the change in the reimbursement rate will change the formula in which the funds are distributed to local adult education programs and may result in some programs receiving more funding than they would have had this provision not been in place and some programs receiving less.
