This amendment
removes the General Fund and Highway Fund appropriations and allocations from
the bill. It directs the Commissioner
of Public Safety and the Attorney General to pursue federal funding for the
cost of the cold case homicide unit.
It establishes an effective date contingent upon the receipt of
sufficient federal funding.
