This floor
amendment limits issuance of wine auction licenses to 3 per year. The General Fund appropriation for one
Office Associate II position and related costs to the Department of
Administrative and Financial Services is removed from the bill and General
Fund revenue is reduced from $25,000 to $1,500. The net effect is a General Fund savings of
$53,287 compared to the committee amendment. |

Additional costs
to the department associated with issuing 3 licenses and enforcement can be
absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
